Snapcast Portablility, Coming Soon!

November 18, 2008

Folks, you’ve all been asking for it and we’ve been working hard to provide it to you! That’s right, coming soon to your website is the ability to take your Snapcast and embed it on your website with a simple line of code! We call this a Snaplet!

With a G-SNAP! Snaplet(TM), you’ll be able to configure the width and height as well as a few other exciting features for true personalization. Some of you might have seen our Snapcast of Aviation Nation 2008 at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas in early November which was a beta test of this new feature. It was quite a hit and we’re putting on the finishing touches as we speak.

So, here’s the deal. If you want to be a Snaplet beta tester, send us an email to beta@gsnap.com and ask to be put on the list. Just let us know what type of Snapcast you’re looking to host, how many people you think might join in, and we’ll let you in on the beta!

Happy Snapcasting!

The G-SNAP! Team

G-SNAP! at Aviation Nation 2008

November 6, 2008

Aviation Nation 2008 will feature an unprecedented online and mobile interactive platform that will offer air show fans around the world a range of interactive media experiences. The webcast and cell phone experience will be powered by companies such as Cisco, VegasHD, Sun Media Productions, Viewcast, Netbiscuits, Vegas Entertainment Network and G-SNAP!

The show will feature an integrated media experience, with live streaming video, digital signage, a mobile website and an innovative new technology called a “Snapcast” where air show announcers and special air show guests will provide a play by play description of the air show action.

The Snapcast will be available for viewing in a window next to the video broadcast on www.aviationnation.org and will also give fans at the show & at home the opportunity to provide their comments via desktop computers and mobile devices. Air show announcers Gordon Bowman-Jones and Heidi Harris will respond live to questions entered by air show fans around the world. The Snapcast will also be shown on Cisco Digital Signage located at the air show site. These technologies will allow the viewers to engage and interact with Aviation Nation as it happens! Join the Aviation Nation Snapcast by going to www.gsnap.com/281 on your desktop browser to view latest news from the show. To access the Snapcast on your mobile device, text “gsnap 281″ to 70589 to receive a browser link on your mobile device. Standard carrier wireless data rates apply.

We will start Snapcasting on Thursday with a sneak peek of the show set up and to hear your comments and feedback!

A mobile website, especially designed for today’s connected air show fans, will be available for mobile internet connected devices and cell phones, offering free downloadable content and access to the Snapcast of the event. To access the mobile site, open your mobile web browser and go to www.avnat.mobi.
